Wooohoo! Our mortgage has been approved. We have our commitment letter in hand, and have faxed it off to the appropriate people. So what’s all that mean? Well, we get to wait another 20 days or so til the final bit of paperwork is done and closing is all setup I guess. I certainly can’t wait. Having been married for 13 years, and having 3 kids, moving around a good many times, it will be very nice to grow some roots and have a place of our own finally.
To my wife: Thanks for sticking by me through thick and thin. It’s ours finally, can’t wait to carry you over OUR threshold 
To my kids: Wow, what a big backyard! We are going to go sliding down that hill on snow sleds this winter I promise!! Can’t WAIT!
