Yay! I’m at work. Yeah right. I am a little bored, so thought I’d write about the drama that has been going on here for the last couple of days. It seems that adults here, seem to have no ability to get along between the Day and Night shifts.
I work in cubicle on the night shift, and there is a person that works in this same cubilce during the day shift. That is the scenario across most every desk here at the company. Of course some people bring in various personal items so that their home away from home is a little more habitable. For the most part this all works out smoothly for all involved. But lately here in my little “team” area, there has been some tension growing between 2 particular deskmates.
It seems the day shift person has some certain “toys” I think they are called “Homies”. They are those little plastic people you can get out of the gumball vending machines for like 50ยข or so. Still they are JUST toys! So what happens as far as I can tell from the talk around here, is that somehow someone on the NIGHT shift MOVED (OMG!) one of the “Homies”. If it was moved I’m sure you couldn’t tell. This led to a note being given to the ENTIRE night shift basically scolding us for moving this girl’s stuff. I mean grow up already, and what’s with the note? Are we in high school here? I guess so! I’m sure there will be more to all this, but I just wanted to share the level of MATURITY that happens between the adults here.
