The other day when I was at work, I noticed, while moving my van on break, that it had a flat tire! Uggh! It was like 10:00pm or so, dark and cold, so I went back into work and clocked out and went back outside to change my tire. That just sucked BTW, but I made it home all in one piece on my little donut spare doohickey thingamajig. The rest of the story follows..
So yesterday, I went to this place called Town Fair Tire. Their website http://www.townfair.com/. I guess they are only located in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Well they should be nationwide IMHO! I had never bought a tire from them, never been in their store before ever! I only went there on recommendation from Melissa who was referred by someone we know.
I went in there and said, well I am not sure what happened to the tire, it just went flat, they guy went out to the van with me and said we’ll have a look at it. While me and Corben sat in the waiting area, BTW this place is “chock full o’tires” so don’t bring any real small kids with you they could bump stuff and you’d be in a new land of rubbery fun. So about 30 minutes later he comes back and said the valve stem was messed up and asked for my keys. They take the spare off and put the fixed tire back on. He comes back in and says have a great day, didn’t charge me a dime, I even got a receipt for $0.00, that detailed what they did! I guess they fix flat tires free there.
Well they have certainly earned my tire business from now on. Just thought I’d share that with the world.
